Illuminorish Moisturizer – Lightweight Daily Moisturizer

The step that locks everything in. Illuminorish is a lightweight daily moisturizer that seals in your serums, strengthens your skin barrier, and keeps skin comfortably hydrated from morning to night, without the heaviness, clogged pores, or greasy finish that make acne-prone skin fear the word "moisturizer."

Every routine we build in the studio ends with this step, because unmoisturized skin undoes the work of everything underneath it: a dry, stressed barrier gets irritated faster, produces more oil, and holds onto dark marks longer. Hydrated skin heals, calms, and glows.

Who it's for

All skin types, genuinely, and here's how: it's rich enough to comfort dry and sensitive skin, light enough that oily and acne-prone skin won't feel coated. It's the moisturizer we recommend to clients who "hate moisturizer", usually people whose past products were too heavy, and the one we send home after peels and corrective facials, when the barrier needs support without any active ingredients in the way.

Oily skin, read this part: skipping moisturizer makes oily skin oilier. Dehydrated skin compensates by producing more oil, hydration is how you turn that signal off.

What you'll notice

Immediately: comfortable, quenched skin with no residue, makeup and SPF apply smoothly over it. Over weeks: a calmer, more resilient barrier, which shows up as less reactivity, less midday shine (see above), and better tolerance of your treatment actives. Moisturizer isn't the glamorous step; it's the one that makes the glamorous steps work.

How to use

Morning and night, as the last skincare step (before SPF in the morning): after cleansing, Illumitone Toner, and your serum, apply a pea-to-nickel-sized amount and press into face and neck. 

Post-treatment: during peel or facial recovery, moisturize as often as your skin asks — the simple routine is cleanser → Illumicalm Serum → Illuminorish → SPF.
